Samoa's Prime Minister has compared some of the tactics used by Samoa's media to the now-defunct British tabloid, News of the World, in an address to Parliament.
At the second reading of his proposed media bill, which would enact a Code of Practice for journalists and establish a Media Council, Tuilaepa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi said money was being used by media organisations in Samoa to collect information.
