RNZAF tests post-disaster radio communications in Samoa |

Samoa has just played host to a group of Royal New Zealand Air Force personnel who were there to put their Kiwi ingenuity to work, practising how to set up communications gear without hi-tech help.
Exercise Tunex Astra saw the RNZAF using trees, wire and soft drink bottles to make improvised antennas and insulators as part of a high frequency communications network
